According to a report by Stanford news in April this year, a Stanford study finds out walking can increase your creativity. I guess walking isn't all that bad aferall. Steve jobs founder of apple has is known for holding meetings on foot likewise the Facebook co-founder Mark Zukerberg who has help several meetings while walking.
This is not to say that walking could turn you into a genius immediately or a braniac it only means taking a walk increases your chances of getting creative on whatever you have in mind at that particular moment. According to study co authored by Marily Oppezzo, a Stanford doctoral graduate in educational psychology, and Daniel Schwartz,a professor at Stanford Graduate School of Education, Creative thinking improves while a person is walking and shortly thereafter.
Next time you are brainstorming about a an idea or having a hard time thinking about certain things. You should consider getting a pair of shoes (or slippers if you like) and jumping outside to take a nice walk.
Do you think walking can increase creativity? What is your take?
