Its a funny scenario.
Staff unions of the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti,
locked out members of the school’s Senate over unpaid allowances on wednesday
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Oladipo Aina, his deputies, and the branch
chairman of the ASUU, Prof. Olufayo
Olu-Olu, and others were among the victims of the lockdown by the Staff unions which included Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, Non-Academic Staff
Union and the Nigerian Association of Academic Technologists.
The Vice-chancellor thinks they were after some allowances that were approved for them by the federal government.
“We started paying the allowance last month and they are requesting for us to pay up.Though, we have met and the matter has been settled amicably.” he said.
Is this funny or not, Staffs(not Students) locking the Senate Building?
