A 37 years oldUNILAG graduate of accountancy was chased into the lagoon last week monday during a raid by officials of the NSCDC. The graduate who sells recharge card under the Meckwen Bridge, Victoria Island,Lagos State fell into the Lagoon while trying to escape been arrested by the NSCDC officials.
Eye witnesses said all efforts to save the drowning graduate was resisted by the NSCDC officials.Eye witnesses are currently making no statements to the police because they fear they might be arrested.
It was also gathered that policemen from the Zone 2 Police Headquarters, Onikan, arrested the NSCDC officials, but later released them.
